Perfect location near centre, quiet, close to beach, wonderful breakfast, nice rooms, brand new structure.

The Pousada Maria Maria is a nice option if you want a good place to rest and relax. Is a bit far from the beach, although you will need a car anyway to enjoy the whole place. I strongly recommend this place.

The staff were very helpful. The installation were average.

The breakfast was poor and the same for the 13 nights I stayed there. The tv has only 4 channels, and sometimes only two worked ok. I asked to fix the one of the wall lamps and two of the electric outlet, never was fix. There were a lot of mosquitoes, hard to sleep and try to kill them. I decided to stay in this Pousada base on the reviews and the pictures, big mistake, also I paid extra usd$200 just for not money to by charge in advance on my credit card. How could people rate this place as 4 Stars. I will rate 2 stars.

Great location close to the beach and center. , daily complimentary coffee and cake is a nice touch. Rooms are clean and equipped with a fridge and TV.

Noise from traffic can be heard in the rooms facing the street. The pool could be bigger for those looking to swim.

Perfect location, near to the centre (300 mt from Rua das Pedras) but quiet (opposite side of noisy main street). 10 minutes walking from nice Ferradura beach! Wonderful, rich, breakfast, nice rooms, brand new structure, kindness of hotel staff (wonderful Mari, the owner!). We absolutely recommend this pousada! We'll come back again!

The only missing thing:a clothes line- even in a common space.

The hotel is conveniently located near the town center with shops and restaurants within walking distance. the rooms are clean and equipped with TV, aircon, and fridge. the staff is friendly and welcoming, providing great service despite the language barrier. the breakfasts are delicious and there are complimentary refreshments in the afternoon. the hotel also has a pool and veranda area for relaxation.

The noise from the traffic can be a disturbance at times, especially if the room faces the main street.

We loved the hotel's convenient location near the city centre and easy access to transportation, making it incredibly easy to explore this city. The cleanliness of the rooms was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were perfect for all our needs. Moreover, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Location was good, easy to find where to eat and go out at night. The beach was not too far away. Also, it was a good value for the money. The breakfast was tasty and filling. There was always fresh juice and plenty of bread and fruit.

The room was a bit outdated and noisy at times. The street outside was busy, and the windows did not shut all the way, so the sound crept in. The pool was too small, and the sun loungers were old and uncomfortable. The AC was also was noisy and didn't cool the room effectively.
